Liaoning Pharm Logistics Center sticks to the front line, “epidemic” is unshirkable– work together to protect supply and fight the epidemic.

In March 2022, a new round of epidemic struck again, and the logistics center resolutely shouldered the important task of ensuring the safety and timely distribution of drugs. In the face of the test brought by strict epidemic prevention and control measures, they are as duty-bound as soldiers to go to the battlefield, every minute counts, and the mission will be achieved.

“Affected by the epidemic, we often encounter cross-regional control, traffic control, community closure and other situations when distributing drugs, which is a difficult problem to ensure the timely and safe delivery of drugs, and the difficulty of vehicle deployment also increases correspondingly. However, we have to find ways to deliver drugs and other epidemic prevention materials as quickly as possible on the premise of meeting the requirements of local epidemic control.” This is the request made by Wang Lei, director of the logistics center, to the whole staff at the emergency dispatch meeting, and it is also her own secret determination. In the face of many difficulties, she discussed countermeasures with the team, urgently looked for qualified third-party logistics companies to carry out emergency cooperation and relay distribution, communicated and coordinated with hospitals to issue relevant certificates, handled the qualification certificates of enterprises for people’s livelihood guarantee, and made every effort to open up logistics and distribution channels to meet the drug needs of patients and medical institutions in the province.

On March 21, many communities had carried closed management in Shenyang, many people were isolated to the community, in order to achieve “non-stop supply of drugs”, more than a dozen business backbones put “home” in the office and entered the “24-hour duty” mode. Storage, sorting, elimination, out of the warehouse, every link is on duty uninterrupted. In the face of a surge of 37% of the output of the warehouse, they work overtime to complete the delivery and distribution of all drugs in a quality and quantity manner. Since March, the logistics center has handled more than 54000 orders, up to 4543 in a single day. There is no doubt that it is their silent commitment to stick to their posts in the face of epidemic prevention and control, and their best interpretation of responsibility is to come forward and do solid work. Protect “everyone” with “small family” and regard persistence as their duty. This persistent spirit of dedication and courage comes not only from the mission of medical people, but also from the feelings of medical traders.

On March 26, the logistics center received a task, and the emergency medicine of the hospital needed to be delivered as soon as possible. Wang Lei’s emergency coordinator responded and delivered the medicine to the customer in only 30 minutes. There are still many cases of emergency distribution, sometimes too late to rest and sometimes too late to eat, but they do not complain, only in order to be able to safely deliver epidemic prevention drugs and emergency medicines to medical institutions and patients in the first place. In the battle against the “epidemic”, they incarnate “Big white”, or busy in the warehouse, or shuttle in the city, in their ordinary positions to carry out the mission, go all out to protect the supply.

In order to ensure the safety of drugs and the personal safety of employees, the logistics center maintains high-frequency ventilation and disinfection every day, and strict screening links have been added to drug receiving and unloading ports. delivery personnel must hold 48-hour nucleic acid test negative certificates, itinerary codes and health codes, and complete information registration and body temperature measurement before receiving and accepting operations can be carried out through a small window to avoid direct contact with personnel and wear masks throughout the process. Kill public areas such as corridors, windows and handles on time to maximize the risk of virus transmission.

It is only in hard times that can shows the true color. At such a special stage, logistics centers face up to difficulties and rush into battle, build a solid line of defense for epidemic prevention and control with responsibility, and protect lives and cities with initial heart and sweat.
